Biography
Wael El-Deeb has received Ph.D. in Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2005. Currently, he is working as a professor in King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals and a reviewer for many reputed journals like BMC veterinary research, small ruminant research, veterinary clinical pathology, tropical animal health and production and others. He has authored over 60 research articles and books. He is the Consulting Editor of the Journal Veterinary Medicine: Research and Reports, Dove Medical Press, United Kingdom. He is a member of research cooperative, Kyoto, Japan, and the Egyptian society for cattle diseases and so on. He received the Mansoura University award for the best researcher in 2006. In addition, he received Almarai award for the most distinguished researcher in veterinary medicine in 2015 and the most distinguished faculty member prize in 2015 from King Faisal University. He worked as a focal point for the Universitatea de Ştiinţe Agricole şi Medicină Veterinară "Ion Ionescu de la Brad Iaşi". He participated in 25 international conferences. He published 3 books in veterinary medicine and in oxidative stress in farm animals.
Research Interest
Wael El-Deeb research interests include acute phase proteins, oxidative stress and cardiopulmonary biomarkers in farm animals.
