Biography
Juan Francisco Madrid Cuevas was born in 1964 in Murcia (Spain). He was awarded Ph.D. in BiologÃcal Sciences in 1991. He is currently working as a Professor at the University of Basque Country (Spain) and University of Murcia (Spain). He has published more than 70 articles and reviews in JCR Journals. His H-index according to WOS is 19, and according to Google Scholar, it is 21. His research has been focused mainly in the microscopical identification of sugar residues in digestive and reproductive system. He is the Editor of Histology and Histopathology, and a member of the editorial board of several Journals. He is the President of the Spanish Society of Histology and Tissue Engineering. He is also the President of the Iberoamerican Committee of Histology which is at an embryonic stage.
